From Pastor Joann and down all administration and in the field are presently volunteers and has to be IN THE FIELD…NO ONE SERVING IS EXEMPT at ANK! Alive Now Kidz is a local and global faith-based/community kids organization providing hope to children, youth and families with its headquarters and beginning in Canton, Ohio and to the population beyond through the preaching and teaching of the WORD of God. Through fun-filled and high impact lessons, the gospel of Jesus Christ comes ALIVE NOW to the children-a relevant message of HOPE! In a simple but creative way, ANK is designed to allow the children to have fun and then in turn allow God to touch their lives.
We train the workers for the work of the ministry through training and internship programs and offer support to outreaches globally as they venture to do the same, reaching their communities and cities, through various initiatives to give hope and alleviate suffering.
Our mission is to reach out to high-risk children (Kidz) with the message of the Gospel, to lead them into their own personal relationship with Jesus Christ and to the best of our ability, meet whatever spiritual, practical and emotional needs that arise with food, clothing, and our sponsorship program.
Alive Now Kidz has the vision of expanding and reaching out to the unreached children in America and other parts of the world. There is no child that is hopeless, they just need HOPE! We can give them that hope by giving them Jesus! So, they can be a Kingdom Kid!
Founder
Alive Now Kidz, ANK was founded by Pastor Joann Macksyn in 2021, after sponsoring, and working as a missionary in a sidewalk and bus ministry in the inner city of New york under Pastor Bill Wilson and his teams, whose unwavering passion and lovefor the Lord touches hundreds and thousands of lives across the globe for the last several decades. Pastor Joann loved their mission of reaching inner-city children who are exposed to violence, crime, drugs, gangs, neglect, and other unwarranted challenges of life. Pastor Joann has personally adopted seven children who are thrown into the …. of life. She loves her children deeply and fiercely and will protect her children by all means. Such strength and calling given to her from God is flowing out of her to NOW reach the children around the world!
Capturing the vision and passion of Pastor Bill, Pastor Joann is running forcibly with the same mission to reach the inner-city children as well as equipping other ministers locally and globally with tools designed to capture the attention and mind of the children. As Pastor Bill says,” The need is the call, and when you meet that
need, you have met the call of God in your life.”
With that in mind, Pastor Joann added that, “We are to be someone’s answered prayer. We are faced daily with a choice! We can be the best thing that happened to someone or the worst thing that happened to them. I made a conscious decision to ALWAYS be the best thing.” Such tenacity and love gave birth to Alive Now Kidz in action.
Alive Now Kidz stands for that Christ is alive now today in people ! God told me to focus on the people and not the buildings. Mega outreach! Our motto is “Changing One Heart at a Time!” ANK is now in 43 nations and is in 5 US States + 1 US Territory.
